Its good to get out on the land, take a breath of fresh air, get your hands in the soil, forage and learn how to make healing medicines from the earth
It's great to work in partnership with the Northern School of Permaculture at the historic Wardley Hall gardens in Worsley, Manchester. We will be working through the seasons learning how to identify medicinal plants and to make medicines with them. The workshops with be held in the walled garden as we gather from the land, getting hands on experience in making herbal infused oils, salves, lotions, balms, creams, glycerites, vinegars, syrups and wild foods. This is a good opportunity to connect to the seasons and the plans working with an experienced Medical herbalist in this beautiful and historic place. You will get to take home all that you make as well as having emailed handouts and recipes.
Please note that the plants we encounter and medicines we make are from the natural world and whats available seasonally is at the whim of mother nature so recipes and the plants we expect to encounter may change
