It's great to be back in Bury, bringing accessible and affordable learning about plant medicines back to local communities.
Each month I will be running a 2 hour evening class in the Barn at Phillips Park, Whitefield in Greater Manchester.
Dandelions! prolific, nutritious and healing! A wild medicine with a multitude of uses, or a noxious weed that is the enemy of every gardener?
Using dandelion as food and medicine starts with the digging of the roots in early spring, followed by lush green leaves and a dazzling array of beautiful flowers. Learn to make friends with this common and abundant herb, exploring its uses in medicine and food. We will be learning about root, leaf and flower medicine and how to use them safely and effectively. There will be a practical demonstration of making a delicious but simple dandelion and Burdock and we will make some dandelion coffee. This two hour class is brimming with lots of information, tastings and recipes.
The course is from 7pm - 9pm and costs £20 including handouts. booking is essential via paypal as numbers are limited.
These classes aim to be accessible, so there are bursaries for those of low income. Please message me.
Any cancellations within 48 hours of the start of the class will not be refunded
