It's great to be back in Bury, bringing accessible and affordable learning about plant medicines back to local communities.
Each month I will be running a 2 hour evening class in the Barn at Phillips Park, Whitefield in Greater Manchester.
Cleavers are a very underrated and amazing medicine. Being abundant this time of year, they grow close to nettles in the hedgerows and are easy to identify and harvest. In this two-hour workshop, we explore cleavers and their uses internally and externally. We will be doing a guided tasting of them and learning how to make a cooling cleavers lotion that's great for both skin problems and wrinkles as well as a succus and drink that can be all made at home in the kitchen. The class is £20 and includes comprehensive handouts with recipes. This class needs to be booked. Refunds won't be given if the class is cancelled within 48 hours of it starting. Information and emailed handouts will be sent closer to the class.
For those who struggle financially there is a bursary available from Incredible Edible Prestwich to make this accessible. Please message me if you think this might be important to you
