It's great to be back in Bury, bringing accessible and affordable learning about plant medicines back to local communities.
Each month I will be running a 2 hour evening class in the Barn at Phillips Park, Whitefield in Greater Manchester.
This two-hour herb class explores the medicine of two of our common native autumn herbal medicines: Hawthorn and Rosehip. Our ancestors were well aware of the healing properties of these two berries in medicines and food, especially at this time of year. Come and join us in the barn of this lovely country park in North Manchester as we immerse ourselves in the wisdom of these two plants. Through guided tastings and discussion we explore Hawthorn blossom and berry as well as Rosehips. There will be a demonstration of making a delicious hedgerow elixir that can be made at home to be ready in time for winter festivities.
The cost is £20 and booking is essential (see ticket link )and includes emailed handouts.
Tickets will not be refunded within 48 hours of the start of the class.
We aim to make these classes accessible to all and there will be a few places available at a lower cost to those who struggle financially so please message me for details.
