The time is now for Midlife women to reclaim menopause as a major rite of passage and initiation to standing in our power as older, wiser, magical women.
This book explores this rite of passage and wild-wise woman initiation through 5 modern-day tales. Tales of ordinary women from the North, who are wild, authentic and magical... and they swear a lot too. Each of them at some point end up alone in the woods where they meet with the mysterious Alice; a local wise woman, herbalist and witch…..
Their tales are raw, edgy, sacred and honest. .. they explore the witch wound that has stopped up reaching our full potential and silenced us and the power they step into.
These modern-day menopause myths are written as short stories to be a guide through this powerful and often challenging rite of passage, as we start to reclaim once more our ancient role as the wise women needed for these times.
